In 1994, Porsche released their latest car to sport the 911 badge… the 993. Porsche claimed ”a significant advance, not just technical, but also from a visual perspective” over the 964 with rounder, more aesthetically pleasing lines than its predecessor along with a brand new light alloy sub frame with multilink wishbone suspension.
From 94-98, a multitude of 993 variants were produced ranging from the 4wd Turbo and Turbo S models through to the motorsport derived Carrera RS and GT2 variants.
Close to the end of the production run in 1996, Porsche announced the creation of the Carrera 4S and a year later the Carrera 2S. Based on the wide bodied Turbo, the 4S also benefitted from Turbo suspension and Turbo brakes.
In the end, out of the total global production of 69,528 units built from 94-98, only 6,948 4S cars were produced and a mere 3,714 2S. The last of the air-cooled Porsche’s and with values of Turbo, RS and GT2 variants already sky rocketing, the last pocket of value within the 993 range.

First registered in August 1997, this exceptional C16 UK supplied Artic Silver over Black Leatherette 993 Carrera 4S is a truly exquisite manual example having covered 40,000 miles from new with full Porsche main dealer/OPC service history. Supplied new by AFN Guildford, the car has been in the stewardship of its last owner since 2010 with all servicing carried out by Porsche Centre Brooklands during this time. The specification is particularly desirable featuring, Rear Wiper, Top Tinted Windscreen, Air Conditioning, High level Brake Light and Sunroof. A substantial amount of supporting paperwork documents the provenance and collectability of this particular example.
